Can you put 10 inch tires on a golf cart?
A low profile tire can be purchased in several different sizes (8”, 10”, 12” & 14”). All Club Car, EZ-GO and Yamaha golf carts will accept 8, 10, 12, and 14 inch low-profile tires without a lift kit.
Do bigger golf cart tires make it go faster?
Most stock new and used golf carts come with standard 8″ golf cart tires. Bigger golf cart tires alone (20” to 24”), with no other upgrades such as a new motor, speed controller, etc., can add an extra 2-4 MPH of speed to your golf cart depending on the tire size.
How do you read the numbers on a golf cart tire?
Golf Cart Tire Sizes
The first number, 18, is the full diameter of the tire – how tall it is in inches from top to bottom. The second number, 8, indicates how many inches wide it is. The last number, 10, is the size of the center of the tire – in other words, what size wheel will fit the tire.
