What happens if you sit on a washing machine?
Your weight would be too much for the machine to be able to turn the drum, so you wouldn’t be bounced around. Washing machines use as little water as they can get away with, so it would never ‘fill up’ – there would always be plenty of air in the drum.
Can you survive in a washer?
No. You would drown or be injured, or put to death during the spin cycle, which can spin up to 1,100 rpm.
Why do wet clothes smell?
It happens when there’s excess moisture caught in the material that isn’t able to escape, leaving your clothes smelling a bit musty.
