What happens in Mexican Train when a double Cannot be satisfied?
If that player is unable to satisfy the double from his hand, he must draw from the boneyard and satisfy the double with that domino. If he is unable to, the player marks his own train public and then the obligation to satisfy the double continues on the following players according to the same rules.
Can you finish Mexican Train on a double?
If they cannot “finish the double”, they must draw a domino, and if they cannot play it on the double, their own train becomes “public”. Single and double blanks are considered wilds. Mexican train dominoes can end on a double. Branching on doubles as in Chicken Foot is allowed as an option (see Variations below).
How many doubles can you play in Mexican Train?
A player can play two doubles consecutively onto two different trains if that player is able to play an additional third tile from his hand (without drawing) onto one of those double tiles. This means that a player could play 3 tiles in one turn.
